Delivery of a Marriage Portrait

2024 has already brought many firsts. This commissioned marriage portrait was delivered on April 12th. While this is not my first portrait commission, it is the first time I received a video of thanks as it was unwrapped. I could see and hear the bride crying with joy as she spoke, the groom's words of incredulousness and the voice of their little boy as he recognized himself, bringing tears to my own eyes. Knowing, first hand, that their family will enjoy the technical craft and warmth of this piece of art forever is quite a thing. I am grateful for the opportunity.
