Mary In Her Wig, one of my first paintings of 2024, is currently traveling to The Netherlands to be included in the international Miniatures competition exhibit at WG Gallery via FiKVA. The FiKVA-foundation (Figuratieve Kunst Vandaag) is a non-profit organization based in Antwerp dedicated to promoting contemporary realism and figurative arts from around the world. Of 370 submitted works, 56 were chosen by jurors Tanya Atanasova and Wilma Geerts. Tanya Atanasova is the founder of FiKVA, an international artist, and professional juror. Wilma Geerts is the owner of WG Gallery and represents the best Dutch portrait painters and realists working today. I am incredibly honored to be part of this competition and still in amazement that gallery-goers in Dordrecht, The Netherlands will see my work.
