NASA has scheduled the launch of Nova Codex for February 14th. The Nova Codex is part of the Lunar Codex project founded by Samuel Peralta. This will be the first time that the work of artists who are women will be included in a time capsule sent to the moon. Etched on nickel microfiche, works of over 30,000 contemporary artists, writers, musicians, and filmmakers from 162 countries and 67 indigenous nations will be sent to the moon and beyond.
